请 柬 “北京现场”关于高速都市化的跨学科论坛

［北京现场］计划是德国联邦文化基金会发起的“艺术与城市”系列研究计划的一部分，与德国歌德学院北京分院合作展开。
该计划将城市角色作为中心母题，注目当代艺术中与之相伴而生的转变。纵观前全球范围内城市现实在两个相反方向上的发展趋势——一方面是亚洲和南美洲“巨型城市”(megacity)的爆炸性增长，另一方面则是那些老工业基地城市的正在面临的以人口下降、经济滑坡为特征的“萎缩”，研究预计，这一现象很有可能正是始自工业革命以来所发生的最为重要的城市转型的先兆。
中国正处在社会、经济的剧烈转型过程中，与西方市场的迅速接轨也为这个国家提出了新的挑战——不仅仅是经济的、政治的，同时也是文化的，现代化进程及其相应的反弹在这个中国都城的城市化进程中非常显著。北京作为这个国家的政治、文化、行政中心，同样显现出 “巨型都市”发展态势。该计划意在考量这个城市的爆炸性增长以及快速发展如何作用于传统与现代两个层面上的都市文化，深入探求北京城市转型中的文化变迁。
与田野研究相平行，我们在此举办这一为期两天的跨学科论坛。论坛将邀请学者、规划师、建筑师、作家、艺术家以及来自民间的更为直接的言说者聚首，以北京城的高速城市化为核心，论题将触及与之相关的规划、建筑、社会生活、文化记忆、公共艺术等各个领域，将学者研究、民间口述以及艺术想像与批判穿插起来。论坛将结合主题论述性发言与广泛而深入的圆桌讨论两种主要方式，冀望以跨越学科边界的穿透力，来揭开这个城市多维的内涵和真实。

[BeijingCase] is a fellowship program initiated by the German Federal Cultural Foundation, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Peking, focusing on the topic of urban development in a “megacity”.
Beijing has been changing at unprecedented high-speed during the last decade. This urban change is highly complex and influenced by economical and political factors with an enormous impact on contemporary Chinese society. As part of the [BeijingCase] project, this Interdisciplinary Forum on the City will look at the different layers and facets of the rapid changes. Forum will bring speakers and participants from diverse fields as s social sciences, art, architecture, urban planning, philosophy, cultural policy making, as well as more direct narrators, such as taxi-driver, to discover and interpret the urban reality. The Forum will include brief screening for short-film, film footage, and art works. Each session will be powered by thematic speakers and presenters, followed by open-floor discussion.
