Moving Words / Live-Love
Designer: Jean-Benoit Levy

Made for Chronicle Books (San Francisco) in 2004, these lenticular postcards are designed so that as you angle them back and forth, you see one word magically transform into another. There are five postcards in a plastic box containing the following words:

LOVE > LIVE
HERE > THERE
EARTH > HEARTH
LIGHT > NIGHT
SUN > FUN

Jean-Benoit Levy is a Swiss graphic designer who opened his studio, AND (Trafic Grafic), in 1988. His posters have won numerous awards and been published in several books. His current work encompasses the spectrum of graphic design, from poster design to wine labels, websites, and a Swiss postage stamp. Mr. Levy has taught at Art Center College of Design - Europe, Basel School of Design, Rhode Island School of Design (Summer and Winter session), and California College of Art. He has also lectured throughout the U.S., Japan, and Europe. Mr. Levy is a member of AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale). He resides and works in both Switzerland and California.
