Urban Fare

The downtown dwellers' grocery experience typically does not match up with the rest of the city s retail opportunities. The key would be to elevate grocery shopping to the level of other urban experiences - to match the clubs, restaurants, clothing stores and cafes that make up the city dwellers' lifestyle. Urban Fare was named to embody this city and food dichotomy. Karacters was not only responsible for the name and logo, but also for the interior and exterior environmental graphics and signage, all take-out and restaurant packaging, each piece of price-point signage, menu boarding, uniforms and collateral.

As one of Canada's leading design firms, Karacters specializes in fully integrated brand design involving every aspect of a brand -from name generation, to package design, trade materials, and complete point-of-sale packages.
