2006第一届威尼斯城市建筑大赛

这次威尼斯城市建筑大赛从4月至10月，大赛组委会欢迎全世界的建筑设计师都能踊跃的参加本次大赛。这次威尼斯城市建筑大赛虽然是第一次举办，但大赛组委会还曾举办过MACHU PICCHU, NAZCA 和 CHAN CHAN等景观设计竞赛，这些活动收到了良好的效果，也对业界起到了很大的影响，因此，大赛组委会希望通过这次大赛的参赛作品，为威尼斯的城市建设提供更多更好的方案。
For our 1st Urban Contest we hope to go much further: we hope to effectively bring the contest’s winning architect closer to the possibility that their project becomes part of the valuable studies that a city takes into consideration. On this occasion we have managed to get the authorities of Venice, the Architect Roberto DAgostino, president of the Sociedad Arsenale Spa (Urban Strategic Project, Development)- principal stockholder of the Venice Community to check the winning proposal.

The Place: 威尼斯城

Venice (in Italian Venezia, in Venetian Venexia), the city of canals, is the capital of the Veneto region. It is located on a complex of islands that extend over a marshy lagoon in the Adriatic sea, between the mouths of the Po (south) and Piave (north) rivers, northeast of Italy. Venice is made up of 120 small islands linked by 450 bridges. You can reach Venice from the mainland via the trans-lagoon bridge that connects to the Piazzale Roma.
