Which is the Crime?

The artwork has been created for RAWA: Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan. Their statement is: "If you love freedom, you are against fundamentalism!" I just tried to underline their "point of view" in a moment where people keep on talking and talking on what is right and what is wrong, while a "crime" is still happening.

Petulia Mattioli aka KOMA was born in Rome, Italy in 1969. She studied at the European Institute of Design in Rome and Milan, from where she graduaded in 1992. She founded, together with the musician and producer Eraldo Bernocchi, the Verba Corrige Production project in 1994, based on the total interaction between Art and Music.
Since 1992 she realized many lighting designs and multimedial installations exhibited live on stages of theaters and music galleries. In 1998 she was awarded at the Arti Visive 2 National Competition and showcased her installations at the Palazzo Ducale at the Genova exibition. Honoured by the critics at the Giovani Artist Biennale. She founded "temporay_vision " a Verba Corrige Production division for graphic design and multimedia in 2000.
